MY STORY
Hi! I’m Afreen.
I’m 12 years old and ever since I can remember, I’ve loved painting. My mom has always encouraged me to follow my passion and express myself through art. Being raised by mother and grandma, I’ve learned the importance of hard work, compassion, and giving back to the community.
WHY I PAINT
I paint because it makes me feel alive. My art is a reflection of the world I see and the emotions I feel. But more importantly, I believe art has the power to change lives, just like it has changed mine.
One of the recurring themes in my paintings is the "Motherhood ". This theme represents the unbreakable bond between my mom and me, and the joy we share despite any challenges we face. Through my art, I want to celebrate the strength, resilience, and love that define our relationship and inspire others to find their own happiness and strength.
